'Jersey Shore's Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino releases second inspirational video

It’s all about the recovery.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino released an inspirational video to YouTube on Feb. 7 of his and wife Lauren Sorrentino’s trip to deliver meals and talk with the residents of the Phoenix Recovery Sober House in Eatontown, New Jersey, on Dec. 19. The holiday visit was part of Sorrentino’s continuing effort to work with and talk to Shore groups about his ongoing recovery from opioid addiction.
“We’re so excited to have a second chance and we’re doing the most with it,” says Mike in the video.
The video was posted on “The Sorrentinos” YouTube channel while Sorrentino, 36, is serving an eight month sentence at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York state on tax fraud. He reported on Jan. 15.

They did, and now the sequel “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” is also a top-rated show for MTV. “Family Vacation” features Mike’s drive to stay sober. The upcoming Season 3 will show his and Lauren’s wedding, Mike says in the video.
“It really comes down to I was the problem, I had an obsessive personality. It took me into my 30s to know that any substance I was going to do, I was going to do to excess,” Mike says.

“It’s all about mindset,” Mike says. “I’m going to try to better myself by reading more, I’m going write a book.”
