Josh Groban to make Broadway debut next September in 'Nastasha, Pierre'

Josh Groban will fulfill a long-held dream next year, when he finally stars in a Broadway musical.

The veteran pop singer will appear next September in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. Inspired by a passage from War and Peace, the critically acclaimed show was an off-Broadway hit a few seasons back. Groban will play Pierre in the new production.

Speaking with Paste BN earlier this year, Groban had mentioned his ambition to tackle Broadway in the not-too-distant future. "There's no escaping it now — it's about finding the right thing," the singer said.
