TV tonight: 'Big Bang,' 'Sleepy Hollow,' 'Dome'

The Big Bang Theory
CBS, 8 ET/PT
TV's most popular comedy is back where it started, on Monday night, thanks to a CBS NFL package that has temporarily shifted the show out of its normal Thursday slot. To add to the likely boost to CBS's Monday fortunes, Bang returns with two episodes, the first of which sends Leonard and Amy on a road trip to retrieve a wandering Sheldon. The already stellar (and now much richer) cast is joined tonight by guests Stephen Root and Regina King, all of which should add up to a fun hour of TV.
Sleepy Hollow
Fox, 9 ET/PT
Fun of a different sort also is on tap on Fox with the second-season premiere of Sleepy Hollow. We know now that Henry (the invaluable John Noble, once again showing his immense skill at playing an amusingly off, incredibly troublesome family member) was once the son of Ichabod and Katrina — and is now the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse. He also has helped scatter the other main characters, so we'll have to see how the show brings them back together and how long the process takes.
Under the Dome
CBS, 10 ET/PT
The season ends with the townsfolk discovering a possible exit. I suggest they all take it — and you all watch ABC's Forever or NBC's The Blacklist.
