Family Guy/Simpsons Crossover

Fox, 8 ET/PT

Looking for Utopia? (The show, not the as-yet-imaginary place.) Look again Friday; the Tuesday version was pulled due to sub-zero ratings, which for Fox is the very definition of dystopian. In its place tonight you'll find this repeat of the one-hour Family Guy crossover special, as the network falls back on reruns for a few weeks before filling the spot with a Gordon Ramsay series. One more reason to conclude utopia will never be found.

NCIS: New Orleans

CBS, 9 ET/PT

The coveted slot after NCIS isn't the only advantage NCIS: New Orleans has over NCIS: Los Angeles. It also boasts Mark Harmon as one of its producers — which is why the NCIS star, who has never made a guest appearance on LA, is back in New Orleans to help Scott Bakula's Agent Pride recapture some escaped prisoners. Oh, and he's brought Rocky Carroll with him.

Supernatural

CW, 9:02:54 ET/PT

Yes, you read that right: CW is starting Supernatural's 10th season premiere at a few minutes after 9 and ending it at 10:02 — meaning both it and Flash will run past their normal time slots. Keep that in mind if you have the type of recorder that might not catch such an oddity on its own. As for the plot. Dean is a demon and Sam is understandably perplexed.
