The Voice
NBC, 8 ET/PT

The end's in sight, Voice fans, as this popular singing contest moves into its final phase with its first live eliminations, which will cut the top dozen down to 10. Eventually, all but one of the contestants will be gone — but never fear, the judges will remain, as will the spinning chairs. And really, aren't they why you watch?

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
ABC, 9 ET/PT

They have a lot on their plate, these agents. As if defeating Hydra weren't enough, they're also regularly asked to serve as a promotional tool for the big-screen franchise that inspired the show and as a launch pad for Agent Carter, the TV spinoff to come, — which explains tonight's guest turn by Hayley Atwell as World War II agent Peggy Carter. Oh, and while they're at it, they'll probably want to do something about Ward kidnapping his brother, a U.S. Senator played by White Collar's Tim DeKay.

Frontline: Firestone and the Warlord
PBS, 10 ET/PT (times may vary)

PBS offers two contrasting approaches to history tonight. The first, American Experience's Cold War Roadshow (9 ET/PT) takes a lighthearted look at Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev's 1959 visit to America. The second, this Frontline documentary, is likely to be a darker, more controversial take on Firestone's actions during the 1989 Liberian Civil War that brought Charles Taylor into power.
