Bones
Fox, 8 ET/PT

While Bones and Booth track down the murderer of a puzzle master, Daisy meets with a midwife played by Facts of Life star Mindy Cohn. Which, if you are of a certain age, means that theme song is now playing in your head. Sorry, or you're welcome: Whichever applies.

Mom
CBS, 8:30 ET/PT

It's hard to imagine another current sitcom negotiating as many abrupt tonal shifts as Mom does tonight in an episode that kicks off with a gross but funny vomit joke (and I'm not a fan of the genre), uses a shot of Bonnie in her underwear for a cheap but reliable laugh, and then ricochets through some genuine moments of parental angst and triumph. It's a mess, but Mom pulls it off, plowing past objections through the skill of its cast, the raucousness of its comedy and the virtue of its intentions. You won't find many other shows taking much interest in a family's struggle to pull itself above the poverty line.

How to Get Away with Murder
ABC, 10 ET/PT

Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and Murder all air their fall finales tonight, with Murder guaranteeing a big answer to a big question. Meaning, tonight, ABC promises we will find out what exactly happened the night Sam died, including, presumably, who exactly killed him. You have just a few more hours to place your bets.
