Amy Schumer to host 2015 MTV Movie Awards

If her delightful ode to Tilda Swinton at the Gotham Awards is any indication of hosting prowess, we're in for a real treat.

Amy Schumer is set to host the MTV Movie Awards on April 12, 2015, at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles (MTV, 9 p.m. ET/PT).

Aside from her first-time hosting gig, the comedian is shaping up for a big year ahead, as her Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer returns for a third season in April. She also will hit the big screen in July in Trainwreck, a comedy she wrote, which is directed by Judd Apatow and co-stars Swinton, Bill Hader, Brie Larson and Daniel Radcliffe.

At this year's MTV Movie Awards in April,The Hunger Games: Catching Fire cleaned house, picking up trophies for movie of the year, best female (Jennifer Lawrence) and male performance (Josh Hutcherson).
