TV tonight: 'SNL Christmas,' 'Major Crimes,' 'Anger'

A Saturday Night Live Christmas
NBC, 8 ET/PT
You have two big network holiday specials to choose from tonight. NBC offers this repeat of its compilation of Christmas-themed skits — which kind of makes it a repeat of a repeat, if you think about it. Or you can turn to ABC for the conclusion of The Great Christmas Light Fight (8 ET/PT), which will award a winner in its quest to find the most outrageous holiday light display. In a tossup, go with SNL, if only because of the likely appearance of Mr. Schweddy and his Christmas treats.
Major Crimes
TNT, 9 ET/PT
There's a Christmas connection to Major Crimes, as well, but it's not necessarily one that falls within the category of "holiday cheer." Turns out there's a Santa robbing banks, and just as the unit's about to catch him, he gets swallowed up in a Santa flash mob.
Anger Management
FX, 10 ET/PT
FX has given us some of TV's best shows. It's also given us one of the worst in Anger Management, which is still with us only because it's a product of one of TV's worst business ideas: a production deal that caused FX to commit to 100 episodes based on the success of the first 10. At any rate, that 100 countdown is now up, allowing us to let go of our Anger and move on.
