First look: 'Broadchurch' Season 2

The murderer has been identified and now the trial begins: BBC America's Broadchurch, a murder mystery starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman, is back for a second season that focuses on the aftermath of last year's investigation.

Here's a first look at the new batch of episodes due March 4 (Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT), with a scene from the premiere that offers an unexpected twist.

Fox's Gracepoint, a remake of the series by its creator, Chris Chibnall, that also starred Tennant, won't continue.
