Eddie Huang bashes his own 'Boat'

Eddie Huang took to Twitter early Wednesday to bash Fresh off the Boat, the ABC series based on his own 2013 memoir.

The show, which aired Tuesday night, Huang said, just doesn't represent his experiences.

Huang has voiced his concerns all along, detailing them in a New York magazine essay in January.

And at the Television Critics Association press tour this year, he again wasn't shy about saying he didn't like the show and objected to ABC hiring a Persian-American show-runner.

He did, however, recognize the importance of diversity on TV.

ABC has not commented on the Huang harangue.
