Fox's 'Bones,' 'Sleepy Hollow' plan crossover

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Here's an unusual pairing: Fox's Bones and Sleepy Hollow will team up for a crossover event of back-to-back episodes just before Halloween on Oct. 29.

In the Bones episode (8 p.m. ET/PT), the discovery of a headless corpse leads Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) on a search in which they encounter Hollow's Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie), who are seeking answers of their own.

In the Hollow episode (9 p.m. ET/PT), Ichabod and Abbie, who will encounter zombie redcoats, are trying to stop one of Ichabod's longtime foes and turn to Brennan and Booth for 21st Century forensic help to help solve an 18th Century mystery.

In casting news announced during Fox's appearance at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour Thursday, the network announced Jason Sudeikis will return as a guest star in Season 2 of former Saturday Night Live castmate Will Forte's The Last Man on Earth.

On Empire, Pitbull will guest star this fall. He will perform No Doubt About It with Jamal (Jussie Smollett).
