Cosby accusers to speak in A&E special
Women who have accused comedian Bill Cosby of sexual misconduct will get a primetime speaking opportunity on A&E.
A one-hour special, Cosby: The Women Speak (Thursday, 9 p.m. ET/PT), will feature interviews with some of the dozens of women who say they were sexually abused by Cosby, whose reputation has been battered by the charges.
Actress Louisa Moritz, publicist Joan Tarshis and model Beverly Johnson are among the more than one dozen women who are interviewed in the program. Accusers explain "why they have come forward, how this story began and what’s next," according to A&E.
The special also will examine how comedian Hannibal Burress's standup comments about Cosby went viral, stirring more interest in the matter, and how Cosby's representatives have responded to the allegations.
