The CW sets Jan. premiere dates, moves 'Vampire Diaries'
The CW is getting ready for the new year.
The network announced the Jan. premiere dates for its mid-season shows on Tuesday. It's latest foray into the world of superheroes, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, will premiere on Thursday Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show will feature a team-up of guest-stars from the CW's other DC comics superhero shows, Arrow and The Flash.The 100, which follows a group of teens and their parents trying to survive 100 years after a nuclear apocalypse, will return on Thursday Jan. 21st at 9 p.m.
With Legends and The 100 moving in on Thursdays, the network also revealed that it will be moving The Vampire Diaries and spin-off The Originals to Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 9 p.m ET/PT, respectively, starting on Jan. 29. Reign will have a winter finale on Friday Jan. 22 and return later in the season, on a night and time to be announced.
