'The Flash' recruits 'Harry Potter' star Tom Felton for Season 3

Tom Felton, who played Harry Potter nemesis Draco Malfoy, is moving from Hogwarts to the DC Comics universe.

The CW confirmed via tweet that Felton, 28, is joining the cast of The Flash as a series regular, making his debut early in  Season 3, according to TVLine.com, which first reported the story. He'll play Julian Dorn, a crime scene investigator for the Central City Police Department, who has suspicions about Grant Gustin's Barry Allen.

Felton's prior TV work includes the first season of TNT's Murder in The First and the 2013 miniseries Full Circle.

The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. ET.
