'RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars' starts its engines Aug. 25
Come through — in simulcast, Drag Race All-Stars.
When RuPaul's queens return to the workroom on Aug. 25 (8 ET/PT) for All-Stars' 90-minute season premiere, their fierceness and follies will air on both Logo and VH1.
That's not the only change. This season, the top two will be the ones lip-syncing for their lives and the winner will have a chance to send a rival packing. So instead of worrying about impressing the judges, the queens will have to focus on each other. That's not to say there won't be judges —Ru will hold court with Drag Race panelists Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley as well as guests Raven-Symone, Ross Mathews, Jeremy Scott, Nicole Scherzinger, Graham Norton and Aubrey Plaza.
“Honey, nobody can claim that this race is rigged,” RuPaul explained in a press release. “I gave the power to the people. May the best All-Star win!”
The second crop of All-Stars includes Adore Delano (Season 6), Alaska (Season 5), Alyssa Edwards (Season 5) , Coco Montrese (Season 5), Detox, Ginger Minj (Season 7), Katya (Season 7), Phi Phi O'Hara (Season 4), Roxxxy Andrews(Season 5) and Tatianna (Season 2).
