Bill Nye to 'Save the World' with Netflix talk show

Get ready to shout, "BILL BILL BILL" all over again. 

Scientist and TV personality Bill Nye is taking his expertise to Netflix. The streaming service will launch talk show Bill Nye Saves the World in the spring of 2017. Episodes of the show will tackle topics from a scientific point of view, and dispute "anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders or titans of industry."

“(On the show) we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change," Nye said in a news release. "With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little.”

Nye has been a household name since his beloved education show Bill Nye the Science Guy captured the hearts of many millennials. Since then he's appeared on various shows as an expert including Inside Amy Schumer, Star Talk and The Nightly Show. He even competed on Dancing with the Stars.
