Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie will host Saturday Night Live's season premiere on Oct. 1.
The Weeknd will be the musical guest for the Season 42 opener of the NBC late-night institution (11:30 ET/PT). The premiere arrives just five days after the first presidential debate (featuring one of last year's SNL hosts, Donald Trump), which might provide a hint about the opening sketch.
Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn in Squad, also starred in The Wolf of Wall Street and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. The Weeknd, a two-time Grammy winner and Oscar nominees, has a new album, Starboy, scheduled for release on Nov. 25.
