Nielsens: 'Bachelorette' hits lowest-rated finale, while 'Teen Choice Awards' ties for worst


Ratings for the week ending Aug. 13, 2017.

Record lows. The final rose of Rachel Lindsay as ABC's The Bachelorette averaged 7.6 million same-day viewers Monday, a season finale low that was down 1 million from last year's. Fox's Teen Choice Awards (1.7 million Sunday) tied last year's record-low turnout.

Summertime special. NBC's hit World of Dance crowned a winner with 8 million viewers Tuesday, second only to lead-in America's Got Talent (13.3 million) on broadcast last week; the first of this summer's SNL: Weekend Update specials earned 4.7 million Thursday. 

Series finales: CBS' failed Katherine Heigl drama Doubt (1.7 million same-day viewers); AMC's Turn: Washington's Spies (946,000) and BBC America's Orphan Black (376,000), all Saturday; and NBC's Carmichael Show (2.8 million Wednesday).
