Can This is Us take the top prize at the Emmys (CBS, Sunday, 8 ET/5 PT) this year? Fans certainly think so.

In a poll of 8,000 viewers by review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, the NBC family drama came out on top when fans were asked who should win the Emmy for best drama, and who would. (The site polled fans on who they would personally vote for in various categories, who they believed would be the TV Academy's favorites on Sunday night and even which shows and actors were snubbed by the nominations entirely.)

Us was the top pick, with 26% of respondents saying they'd choose the show if they had a vote (barely besting Netflix's Stranger Things at 25%), but 32% said they believe it will win.

For the best comedy series category, fans were also united in believing their favorite, ABC's Modern Family, would come out on top: 31% of the fans polled would pick it on their own ballots and 34% say it will win. (Family won the category for each of its first six seasons).

Fans picked broadcast nominees as their favorites in several other categories, including drama actress (Viola Davis for ABC's How to Get Away With Murder) and variety talk series (ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!).
