Weekend TV: 'Think It Up,' 'Miss America'

Think it Up
ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, Friday, 8 ET/PT
The Big Four broadcast networks unite for this telethon in support of public education. Stephen Colbert, Halle Berry, Kristen Bell, Matthew McConaughey, Terry Crews and Justin Bieber are among those scheduled to take part.
Miss America Pageant
ABC, Sunday, 9 ET/PT
America's most famous beauty pageant returns for its 95th run. The good news for those who love the event (and admittedly, many don't), is that it's back on broadcast TV, in the fall, and in Atlantic City, as tradition dictates. The bad news is that America is running right into the TV buzz saw of the NFL, which opens its Sunday primetime season on NBC with the Cowboys and the Giants. Those who choose ABC instead will be greeted by hosts Brooke Burke-Charvet and Chris Harrison, and have a chance to say farewell to outgoing Miss America Kira Kazantsev. And yes, it's all a relic of another age — but relics do have their fans.
Doll & Em
HBO, Sunday, 10:40 ET/PT
HBO kicks off a second run of this comedy written by and starring real-life friends Emily Mortimer and Dolly Wells, who play fictionalized versions of themselves. As the season begins, the reunited friends are sequestered in a lighthouse, working on a semi-autobiographical script for a play. Expect the meta-jokes to fly fast and free.
