The Bridge

Hallmark, 8 ET/PT

Here's good news and bad news for fans of Karen Kingsbury's book The Bridge. The good news is that Hallmark has turned the book into a movie, with Katie Findlay (best known for being murdered twice on TV, in The Killing and How to Get Away with Murder) and Wyatt Nash as the young lovers,  and Faith Ford and Ted McGinley as the owners of the book store where the young lovers bond. The bad news? Hallmark is turning the book into two movies — and the second one won't arrive until next Christmas.

The Simpsons

Fox, 8 ET/PT

Lisa's search for evidence to save the reputation of a local female inventor takes her and Bart to an asylum — where Bart steals a homicidal patient's notebook and passes it off as his own. Think of it as a novel holiday lesson for your children: Don't pretend to be a psychopath.

Sinatra 100 — An All-Star Grammy Concert

CBS, 9 ET/PT

CBS celebrates an artist who helped transform popular music and helped create the modern singing star. Along with clips of Frank Sinatra himself, you'll hear his hits reinterpreted by the likes of Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Usher, Garth Brooks and Harry Connick Jr.
