The Wiz Live!
NBC, Saturday, 8 ET/PT

For anyone who missed it the first time around, or just wants to ease on down this enjoyable road one more time, NBC repeats The Wiz Live! Pulsing with life and fun, sparked by energetic dances, colorful costumes and a fabulous cast bringing home a still-sturdy score, this musical event is a charmer from start to finish.

The Sound of Music
ABC, Sunday, 7 ET/PT

Of course, when it comes to musicals, it’s hard to find a bigger crowd-pleaser than the 1965 Oscar-winning film version of The Sound of Music, now an ABC holiday staple.  Which means the network has aired it so many times, you can probably sing along with Julie Andrews,  Christopher Plummer and all those happy Von Trapp children as they tramp their way through the Alps and that wonderful Rodgers and Hammerstein score. And just in case you want to join in but words fail, ABC is airing the movie in a sing-along version. The hills really will be alive.

Homeland
Showtime, Sunday, 9 ET/PT

Homeland, which seems to have pleased people more this season than last, leads the list of shows exiting for the season Sunday. Stay on Showtime afterwards and you can say goodbye to The Affair (10 ET/PT), or move over to AMC to bid adieu to Into the Badlands (10 ET/PT).
