Peace Officer
PBS, 9 ET/PT (times may vary)

This Independent Lens presentation follows William Lawrence, a former sheriff who established one of Utah’s first SWAT teams — which, years later, killed his son-in-law in a controversial standoff. The tragedy led Lawrence to investigate that incident and other police-related shootings.

Castle
ABC, 10 ET/PT

Castle has many problems, not least of which is the need, should it be renewed, to move forward without co-star Stana Katic. But this week's looming issue is the way the writers have allowed the more childlike aspects of Castle’s personality — which are part of the character’s charm and an ample source of the show’s humor — to get away from them, to the point where he seems less boyish than insane. A few weeks ago he thought he'd met a superhero. This week, he thinks the murderer is the Antichrist. Well yes, anything’s possible — but what's probable is that, if Castle returns, it needs to do so with scripts that have a better grasp of how far a long-established character can be stretched before he snaps.

Damien
A&E, 10 ET/PT

And speaking of the Antichrist, here he is, as this sequel to The Omen ends its season. If the big finale revelation is that Damien has been moonlighting over at ABC, all bets are off.
