TV tonight: ABC Thanksgiving, 'Chicago P.D.'
ABC’s comedy Thanksgiving
ABC, 8 ET/PT
Ah, the march of holiday time. Having just recently gathered to celebrate Halloween, ABC’s Wednesday sitcom lineup — still TV’s best foursome, despite the loss of The Middle and some overall aging pains — now moves on to Thanksgiving. On The Goldbergs, Murray and Marvin are off to Philadelphia’s parade for a special appearance by the talking car from Knight Rider; on Speechless, the family gets an unwelcome dinnertime visit from Jimmy’s brother (guest star Rob Corddry); on Modern Family, Cam wants to celebrate his roots with a “Thanksgiving Jamboree,” and on Black-ish, Ruby braces for the arrival of her nemesis, Pop’s sister (guest star Lorraine Toussaint). One night, four dinners, and no calories. Not a bad deal.

Audience Network, 8 ET/PT
In the market for yet another grim exploration of the “underbelly” of some largely ignored-by-TV criminal backwater — in this case the Los Angeles diamond trade? If so, DirecTV offers this 10-episode series starring Cam Gigandet, Jeremy Sisto and Donald Sutherland that promises murder, thuggery, blood diamonds, and a South African-run, Belgium-based diamond cartel. Or you could just watch Diamonds Are Forever and have more fun.
Chicago P.D.
NBC, 9 ET/PT
'Tis the departing season. Last week, Law and Order: SVU went off to its holiday vacation. Tonight, Chicago P.D. follows along with a double-episode sendoff.
