TV tonight: 'Star Trek' premieres, 'Teen Wolf' series finale

We're heading back to the Final Frontier. The newest attempt to return Star Trek to our TV screens comes courtesy of CBS and their streaming service, CBS All Access. The new Trek, starring Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead), Jason Isaacs (The OA) and Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), premieres tonight on CBS, but the rest will only be available on All Access.  Eight episodes will air this fall, with a second batch due in January.

Ballers

The third season of the super-charged comedy comes to a close just as Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) and Joe (Rob Corddry) get some help in their ongoing attempt to convert team owners to their cause. Ricky (John David Washington) is working on a new plan for the future, Jason (Troy Garity) gets Charles (Omar Benson Miller) another chance at an in-demand job and Reggie (London Brown) leaves his mark on training camp.

The cult fantasy comes to an end tonight, as Gerard (Michael Hogan) begins his final attack on the supernaturals of Beacon Hills.
