Time Warner Cable Q2 income dips 7.2% as customers cut cord
Time Warner Cable, the nation's second largest cable TV and Internet provider, said Thursday its second quarter net income fell 7.2% from a year ago to $463 million as its residential TV and phone businesses lost customers and income tax provision rose.
Revenue rose 3.5% to $5.9 billion.
Adjusted earnings per share totaled $1.54 vs. $1.82 estimated by analysts.
