Graco recalls Table2Table high chairs after 5 kids are injured

Graco is recalling a high chair after reports that five children were hurt when they tipped over while sitting in the seat.

The recalled seat is the Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 high chair, sold exclusively at Walmart between October 2016 and this past December.

Atlanta-based Graco has received 38 reports of the rear leg turning out of position, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The five hurt children suffered bumps and bruises.

Parents and caregivers are advised to stop using the $99 high chair immediately.

The recalled high chair has a white cushion with gold and gray polka dots, and the model number 1969721.

"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience our consumers may have experienced and we appreciate the loyalty of our consumers," Graco said in a statement on the company's website.

An estimated 36,000 high chairs were sold in the U.S. and another 3,200 in Canada, the CPSC said.
