This week will be a shorter one on Wall Street, thanks to Turkey Day. Traders will take a breather from a recent record run for stocks to enjoy their holiday feasts.

U.S. stocks markets are closed Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. On Friday, the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq will resume normal trading hours but will close early at 1 p.m. ET.

The U.S. bond market will be closed Thursday, as recommended by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. It will also shutter early on Black Friday at 2 p.m.

Foreign financial markets are open on Thursday, Nov. 28. Currency markets are expected to remain open.

The next market holiday is Christmas. The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq are open until 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and bond markets are open until 2 p.m.
