Family Dollar initiating recall of Advil shipped to certain stores
Family Dollar is initiating a product recall on Advil shipped to certain stores due to the product being stored outside labeled temperature requirements
The product was shipped on or around June 1, 2022 through March 31, the U.S Food and Drug Administration reported Thursday.
The voluntary product recall of the over-the-counter drug is because the product was stored by Family Dollar outside of labeled temperature requirements.
As of Thursday, the FDA reported, Family Dollar was not aware of any consumer complaints or reports of illness due to the recall.

Family Dollar has notified its affected stores, asking them to check their stock and quarantine and discontinue the sale of any affected product, the FDA said.
Customers who may have bought affected product may return it to the Family Dollar store where they were purchased without receipt.
