Chrysler Group's Ram truck brand just followed up on the "Year of the Farmer" vow that it made with a breakthrough ad during the Super Bowl by presenting a $1 million check to the Future Farmers of America.

The check was presented to FFA President Clay Sapp at the organization's convention in Louisville, Ky., last week.

The donation comes from Chrysler's promise to make a donation based on the number of visits to the website it promoted during the game. The ad was viewed 22 million times, "underscoring America's interest in and support for the important role farmers play in our country," said Reid Bigland, CEO of Ram.

In case you've forgotten by now, the ad featured a radio essay called, So God Made a Farmer from the late broadcaster Paul Harvey. He delivered it in 1978.
