Euro luxury crossovers come to Detroit auto show
Three high-end European brands are using the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit as a chance to bring their latest entries to America. Paste BN's Chris Woodyard takes a look.

DETROIT -- While new American vehicles were expected to take most of the attention at the North American International Auto Show opening here Monday, don't count out the Europeans.
Three Euro luxury brands are playing up the potential for small crossover SUVs. They're perfectly sized for young, entry-level customers and for manuevering through congested cities. Yet they are packed with the latest in technology and still premium priced, making them a good business proposition.
We look at new entries from Mercedes-Benz, Audi and a concept from Volvo that will be introduced at the show. They point to the sweet spot for the direction of the auto industry.
