Aston Martin revives exclusive Lagonda sedan
Aston Martin is reviving a famous name on a limited basis: Lagonda.
The super-luxury English car, sure to come with a super-luxury price tag, will stand apart from other Astons as a more stately car than its stable of sports cars. Aston calls the sedan the "finest of fast cars" — and it appears to be aimed primarily at wealthy customers in the Middle East.
Aston says the hand-built car draws its look from the Lagonda of 1976, yet it will be thoroughly modern with touches like carbon-fiber body panels.
Want to buy one? The car will be offered by "invitation only," Aston says, on a super-exclusive basis. Just how many will be made is being kept under wraps, for now.
