Pumpkin-hauling Ford F-150 is built 'Gourd tough'

Sure, showing a pickup hauling giant pumpkins during Halloween week would be deemed by many a publicity stunt.

But, hey, the truck can handle the giant pumpkin. It has 3,300 pounds of cargo-carrying capacity.

Ford has released photos and video of its new F-150 pickup taking on the massive load for a grower named John Harnica, who says on tape that he specializes in oversized pumpkins.

"Happy haul-o-ween," Ford declares, scaring up every last seed of publicity from the sight of the redesigned pickup toting a giant pumpkin.
