BMW raises prices for 2015
BMW is taking advantage of strong sales to raise prices for 2015. But not by much.
Given that it's selling luxury vehicles with prices to match, the increases are not likely to present much of a jolt to its well-heeled buyers. They range from $250 on the 428i Coupe to $1,000 on the X5 xDrive50i crossover. Since the $1,000 increase is on one of BMW's more pricey vehicles, it still only amounts to about a 1.4% increase.
BMW calls them "modest inflationary" increases. Taking effect on Monday, they leave many of BMW's more popular models, like the 3 Series sedans, untouched. BMW is charging $950 in destination fees, which are included in the prices below. Of course, they are only manufacturer's suggested prices — the ones that show on the sticker in the window — and customers will certainly haggle for a better price at dealerships.
