Just Cool Cars: Owning a unique military truck
Paste BN's Chris Woodyard talks to David Dunn about his Pinzgauer 6X6 military truck.

LOS ANGELES -- If you really want to make a big impression, just try buying a foreign military truck like this one.
David Dunn knows. He acquired a Pinzgauer, an Austrian truck made in Great Britain. The six-wheel-drive truck is notoriously rugged, even able to be dropped out of planes. One reason is its amazing ground clearance. It also can be switched ina two- and four-wheel-drive, he says.
He says British troops used them in Afghanistan.
Dunn says his Pinzgauer was originally a company demonstrator for North America. We met up with him at the Queen's English car show in Los Angeles recently.
It's huge, perfect for making a statement. This truck looks like it can just about roll over anything.
