Nissan posts record October sales in U.S.
Nissan's October U.S. sales jumped 12.5%, compared to the same month a year earlier, as shoppers snapped up the Japanese automaker's crossovers, sport-utility vehicles and pickup trucks.
It was Nissan's best October ever in the U.S.
Sales of the company's pickups, crossovers and SUVs rose 29.3% for the month, fueled by a 69.8% increase for the Rogue crossover. Sales of the company's cars rose only 1.5%.
The Nissan brand recorded an 11.5% increase, while the luxury Infiniti division recorded a 23.2% increase.
