Subaru teases look of next Impreza

Subaru is offering a tiny peek -- a side view of the front end and headlight -- of its new Impreza ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show later this month.

The sedan and five-door version of Impreza have a new look inside and out and new technology. It will be the fifth generation of Impreza.

The model is particularly important because it is the first to use a new platform that will go in several other key models. A concept version of the Impreza was shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year. That one had a sportier look, both wider and lower than the current Impreza, with a hexagonal grille, and C-shaped headlights and taillights.
