The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will feature a massive 38-inch display

It's highly likely the display on the 2021 Cadillac Escalade might offer a better picture than your TV at home.

Cadillac announced Tuesday the that large SUV is coming equipped with an equally large display: a 38-inch curved OLED screen.

In a statement, Cadillac says the display will feature "twice the pixel density of a 4K television."

Cadillac offered a glimpse of the display in a brief video posted on Twitter. It stretches well across the bulk of the dashboard, appearing to stop near the passenger seat.

The Escalade will be revealed Feb. 4 in Los Angeles, and launch in late 2020, Cadillac said.

Automakers continue to embrace sophisticated displays in vehicles as infotainment systems become more widespread. Last week, General Motors introduced redesigned models of the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe with 10.25-inch touch screens in front and a pair of 12.6-inch LCD rear screens.
