How long will the Krabby Patty be available at Wendy's? Here's what to know

Wendy's announced earlier this month it had partnered with Paramount to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "SpongeBob SquarePants" by launching the "Krabby Patty Kollab," but time is running out to try it.

The collaboration features two new menu items that are available at Wendy's restaurants nationwide for a limited time, including a "Krabby Patty Kollab Burger" that features a quarter pound of beef, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and a "top-secret" sauce on a toasted bun.

The other item fans can get as part of the celebration is a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, which is a vanilla Frosty with a pineapple mango flavored puree swirl, according to Wendy's.

"It makes sense that two of the most iconic squares in pop culture are teaming up to bring a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life for fans of all ages!" said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company, in a news release last month.

According to the news release, the collaboration brought food items inspired by the "SpongeBob SquarePants" Krabby Patty "into the real world and onto menus for the first time ever." The animated show first premiered on Nickelodeon in 1999.

But the meal won't be available for much longer. Here's what to know.

How long will the Krabby Patty be available at Wendy's?

Both menu items have been available nationwide in the U.S., Canada and Guam since Oct. 8, but many fans who haven't had a chance to taste the items have been asking, how long will they be available?

You'll have a couple more weeks to get your fix of the SpongeBob-inspired meal: "The SpongeBob Krabby Patty Kollab will be available in Wendy's restaurants through early November," a Wendy's spokesperson told Paste BN Tuesday.

The announcement of the burger's ingredients also led fans to wonder: What's in the secret sauce?

We asked, and Wendy's answered with the following:

"Our top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce is a closely guarded recipe that makes the first bite of the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger worth the wait for 'SpongeBob SquarePants' fans and Wendy's customers alike," a Wendy's spokesperson told Paste BN in an emailed statement Friday.

Much in the way that Mr. Krabs, the proprietor of the Krusty Krab, guards the Krabby Patty secret formula in the cartoon series, Wendy's plans to guard the sauce's recipe in real life.
