First responders can get a free coffee, doughnut at Krispy Kreme Monday
Krispy Kreme is celebrating National First Responders Day on Monday by offering first responders free coffee and doughnuts.
According to a news release from the company, all first responders can get a free small coffee, hot or iced, and free doughnut of their choice in-shop or in the drive-thru on Oct. 28, no purchase necessary, limit one per customer.
The only exclusions to the offer are the doughnuts in the Krispy Kreme x Ghostbusters Collection, according to Krispy Kreme. The collection celebrates the 40th anniversary of the theatrical debut of "Ghostbusters" and pays homage to the original film starring Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray.
The Ghostbusters doughnuts are available individually or in a limited-edition custom specialty box resembling the traps the Ghostbusters used to capture ghosts (prices vary by location):
- Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut made with Oreo: A chocolate iced Original Glazed doughnut, topped with Oreo pieces, Oreo buttercreme, and a No Ghost logo candy.
- Slimer Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut with lemon flavored green filling, dipped in purple and green icing with a Slimer candy.
- Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in orange colored icing, topped with neon sprinkles.
- Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart: Powdered Original Glazed Doughnut Dots topped with marshmallow flavored buttercreme and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man candy.

Krispy Kreme offers customers free doughnuts on Halloween
Additionally, all Krispy Kreme customers wearing a costume in-shop on Halloween can receive one free Original Glazed doughnut at participating shops, no purchase necessary.
