Chick-fil-A brings back Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, introduces new drinks: When you can get them
Spring is in full blossom at Chick-fil-A.
The fast casual chicken chain announced Thursday it's kicking off the new season by introducing "warmer-weather flavors" with two limited-time menu offerings.
The company said it is bringing back the popular Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich and introducing a series of new Pineapple Dragonfruit seasonal beverages. Both options will be available at restaurants nationwide beginning Monday, March 17, and are available while supplies last, according to Chick-fil-A.
The Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich returns with three filet options for customers to choose from – original, spicy and classic grilled. The chicken is paired with bacon that's hand-tossed in a brown sugar and black pepper blend, according to the chain, and topped with Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce and smoky BBQ sauce, served on a toasted sweet yeast bun.

The Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages combine "sweet and juicy" pineapple flavors, along with a "unique, tropical dragonfruit twist," Chick-fil-A said a in a news release. The Pineapple Dragonfruit flavors are available in four varieties:
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade: Combines Chick-fil-A lemonade or diet lemonade and Chick-fil-A's signature IceDream dessert with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade: Combines Chick-fil-A lemonade or diet lemonade with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea: Mixes classic iced tea with natural and pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy: Combines Chick-fil-A's Sunjoy beverage (lemonade mixed with iced tea) with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
“As warmer weather approaches, our Guests are craving flavors that are reminiscent of longer, brighter days and time spent outside with family and friends,” said Allison Duncan, director of menu & packaging at Chick-fil-A, in a news release.
“We’re thrilled to bring back the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, with an expanded lineup of options for our Guests, alongside our new Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages which offer a deliciously sweet and refreshing balance to the smoky BBQ flavors,” Duncan added.
