Free Slurpee Day is coming. On July 11 get a free frozen drink ... and a tattoo?
Your first sip during this year's free Slurpee Day can have a special effect: a tongue tattoo.
7-Eleven won't just be giving out free small Slurpees on July 11, which has become known as National Slurpee Day. Members of the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty programs can also get special Slurpee-activated temporary tongue tattoos at select 7-Eleven and Speedway locations. The S-shaped tattoos, when placed on the tongue after partaking of the frozen drink, appear in blue, green, red or pink.
July 11 will mark the convenience store chain's 98th birthday – its first store opened in Dallas in 1927 – and participating 7-Eleven, Speedway or Stripes stores will be giving out to get a free small Slurpee.
You can get another free small Slurpee, too. Just scan your 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards app on July 11 and you will get a coupon for another free small Slurpee redeemable through July 31.
