Where to turn to for financial advice

Financial advice seems to be everywhere these days: On TV, online, in newspapers, magazines and plenty of books.
But nearly half (48%) of Americans say it's hard to know which sources of financial advice can be trusted. And according to a survey released by financial services provider TIAA-CREF: trust, perceived cost and time constraints are among deterrents preventing Americans from seeking financial advice.
