4. Sesame Street Denim Sneakers

It can be hard to find shoes for little kids that aren’t gaudy or covered in lights, squeaks and glitter. That’s why we love these Elmo shoes, which are cute but also practical. The shoes, which are available in toddler sizes, have elastic laces and a velcro closure, and come in four Street-inspired styles, including one with a very hungry-looking Cookie Monster.

5. 'Street Gang: How We Got To Sesame Street'

One of two excellent documentaries produced about Sesame Street in the last few years—the other being "I Am Big Bird: The Carol Spinney Story"—"Street Gang" tells the story of the show’s creation, from the design of the street to the struggle to get funding. It’s not for little kids, really, but adults and older kids with an interest in history will find it fascinating. Seeing how Jim Henson and the other puppeteers created the iconic Sesame Street characters is worth the cost alone.

You can buy individual pairs as well, but who can pick—they’re all so cute!

11. 'The Monster At The End Of This Book'

If there’s any Sesame Street book that’s a must-have for any library—kid-centric or not—it’s "The Monster At The End Of This Book." A twisting, turning, silly thriller, it lets readers lightly torment an increasingly exasperated Grover by turning pages and inching toward the end of the book, where Grover’s heard a monster resides. As he finds out, though, the monster is just him—furry, lovable Grover—and there’s quite often nothing to fear at all. It’s a great lesson, and a truly excellent book.

12. Tonies Sesame Street Characters

We’re big fans of the Toniebox around these parts. Reviewed's parenting experts called it “a nifty little invention, and one that, in its own way, certainly has the potential to make any kid’s world a more interesting place.” Recently, the company has introduced two new Sesame Street Tonies, meaning your kid can listen to Elmo and Cookie Monster sing whenever they want, by their own volition, and to their hearts’ content. Each Tonie comes loaded with about 30 minutes of material, including at least 15 songs and stories.

13. Popfunk Sesame Street Faces T-Shirt

If you’re an adult who insists you’re still a child at heart, you’ll love Popfunk’s line of Sesame Street character shirts, which turn your torso into a character’s face. The Ernie shirt—which is adorable—is a charming orange, while the Grover shirt is a bold royal blue. Each shirt also comes with a cute Sesame Street sticker.

15. 'We’re Different, We’re The Same' Book

Another classic Sesame Street book, "We’re Different, We’re The Same" is the kind of book that generations of parents have–and will—pass onto their kids. This book teaches readers that everyone is the same on the inside and, in fact, it’s our differences that make the world a richer and more wonderful place. This 30-year-old book is so beloved, in fact, that it’s still holding down an average 4.9 star rating with more than 10,000 reviews on Amazon.
