We loved the iRobot Roomba i7+ robot vacuum because of its sleek design, ability to empty itself and powerful vacuuming performance. It scored impressively in our laboratory tests, making it our favorite robot vacuum until the newer j7+ model recently replaced it. But the i7+ remains one of the best robot vacuums we've ever tested--and its current Amazon Prime Day sale makes it an appealing buy, too.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ comes with a self-cleaning charging dock, which suctions anything from the vacuum's dustbin into a sealable bag. This means you can toss away the bag once it's full and never have to see, touch, or smell anything your Roomba robot vacuum picks up.
The i7+ also has incredible smartphone app features, like its ability to map your floor plan and vacuum based on your cleaning preferences. This means that your Roomba robot vacuum can clean a certain area one or multiple times, depending on how dirty you think that room is. You can also schedule the i7+ to clean certain rooms at certain times—a perfect feature for cleaning, say, the entryway at 3:15pm right after the kids come home from school or the kitchen around 8:00pm after dinner.
