Over the last couple years, we've tested dozens of air purifiers in the Reviewed test labs. Some have wowed us with their general prowess, while others are better for tackling VOCs, and others still are best for people who need to rid the air of larger particulates, like pollen, dust and mold.

What we hadn't seen before lab testing the Medify MA-50 air purifier was HEPA 13-rated air filters installed in an air purifier meant for residential use.
According to Reviewed's chief scientist, Dave Ellerby, these filters are "a high-efficiency type often used in medical facilities that are effective at removing the aerosols that spread SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID."
What this means is that the Medify MA-50 is incredibly proficient at removing allergens, spores, mold, dust, viruses (see above) and other heftier particulates from the air, so you can breathe easier. Like so much more proficient than its competitors—the best we've ever seen in our test labs.
Pair this performance with super powerful fans that grant it a large coverage area, and a superior build quality, and it's hard to say no to while you rub your burning eyes and sneeze out a world of snot.
Fall allergy season is coming up fast!
