There's no better way to cool off on hot days than with the Little Tikes Slam 'n Curve Waterslide. I would know. My family and I invested in the inflatable backyard contraption during the early days of the pandemic to stay cool and have some fun in our Florida backyard—and it's been worth every penny.

This Little Tikes waterslide, which has more than 2,000 Amazon reviews and a 4.7 out of 5-star rating, provides hours of fun for my kids, ages 10 and 5, and their friends. The slide is designed for kids up to 10 years of age, but I'd be lying if I said my 5-foot 3-inch tall frame hasn't taken a few fun spins down the slide. It's designed for one to two people to go down at a time (and only one person at a time on the climber leading to the top of the slide).
The waterslide stays inflated via the included heavy-duty blower that must be powered on at all times during use and connected to a GFCI plug. Anchor stakes and a weighted water bag also come with this Little Tikes waterslide to ensure that it stays in place. The weight of the water in the splash pool also helps prevent it from blowing away.
A garden hose is necessary to fill the pool and provide a continuous spray of water at the top of the slide. Without constant water, the slide will dry up in the sun and become hard to slide down. All said and done, it takes about 15 minutes to set up the slide and one person can easily do it without any additional help.

As for maintenance and care, a repair kit and storage bag come with the slide. We've been using our slide for three years now and we have not experienced any wear and tear. I find it hard to fit the waterslide back in the back after use (make sure you let it sun dry before packing it away), and prefer to roll it up and place it in a large plastic garbage can instead.
Additionally, we place a large tarp underneath before setting up the Little Tikes Slam 'n Curve to prevent any rips and tears from the grass and sticks.
It's more than just a waterslide, too. At the base of the slide is a small pool that measures several inches deep. It's a good depth that offers a big splash when you come down the slide, but is shallow enough that younger ones can bask in the cool water without fear of drowning.
