The Bataan 3L Fanny Pack Del Día has seen me through hiking trips, safaris, trips home and trips abroad. It also serves as my makeup bag when I'm home, because I can't bear to hang it up between trips. I got each of my family members one before we took a big group trip together, which was great because with the Suprise Me option they could choose which pattern and colorway suited them best.

Cotopaxi has more structured belt bags, but the Bataan 3L is spacious, which makes it great for travel. The repurposed nylon is sturdy and lightweight, so if it's strapped to you during a hot summer hike it will still be comfortable to wear. I've had mine for several years, and every time I think about replacing it I end up holding off. At $33, it's extremely affordable compared to popular belt bags from other outdoor retailers, too.
