In case you haven't heard by now, April rain showers have brought in a plethora of beauty launches. Leading the pack is a new crop of spring-themed scents, including a sweet-smelling eau de parfum from Kayali and a fruity-scented body oil from Ellis Brooklyn. Makeup that promises to leave your complexion looking sun-kissed and not dripping down your face after a sweltering hot day in the sun is also gaining a footing. 1. K18 Molecular Repair Hair Oil
Haircare brand K18 is continuing to promote the upkeep of healthy hair with another product: the Molecular Repair Hair Oil. It claims to hold three functions: "strengthen" strands, minimize frizz and "repair damage." The styling product promises to work on all hair types and textures. Ingredients include avocado oil for protection from heat that gets up to 450°F and hemisqualane and squalane to support the hair's moisture barrier, increase shine and keep flyaways at bay. You can either place the oil in damp hair before styling or work it through the ends after styling.
2. Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato 33 Eau De Parfum Intense
Nothing shouts "spring!" more than a sweet, light-hearted fragrance, such as the newly-released Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato 33 Eau De Parfum Intense. The self-proclaimed "warm and spicy" fragrance features notes of pistachio gelato, cotton candy and whipped cream.This combination of scents is supposed to "have you smelling good enough to eat," per the brand. Olaplex is getting in on the lash serum game with the launch of the Lashbond Building Serum, an eyelash-growth serum that aims to produce "longer, thicker, stronger, and healthier lashes in as little as four weeks." Its formula consists of hyaluronic acid and biotin, each of which intend to keep lashes looking and feeling strong. Swipe the brush along the upper lash line twice a day. Allow the serum to dry for at least 90 seconds before using any other eye products.
4. Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish: Divine Powder Bronzer
With sunnier, warmer days around the corner, makeup artist Pat McGrath has released Skin Fetish: Divine Powder Bronzer to make all of our complexions a little more brighter for the spring and summer seasons. It claims to deliver "sun-sculpted definition that leaves skin perfected and blurred with a naturally radiant glow." The bronzer comes in a matte finish and is available in five shades, ranging from "Naked Desire" (soft golden bronze) to "Mahogany" (bronze mahogany).
