The streaming world just got a little more interesting. Disney+ officially launched its new streaming bundle with Hulu and Max (formerly HBO Max) today, with prices starting at $16.99 a month. The streaming giant first announced this bundling back in May, making for a powerful trio of movies and shows for kids and adults. Disney+ already had some enticing bundle offers with its Duo package of Disney+ and Hulu and the Trio package of the first two streamers with ESPN+. Both the Duo and Trio bundles are still available to shoppers, starting at $9.99 a month and $14.99 respectively.
How much is the Disney+, Hulu, Max bundle?
Like the other bundles, the Disney+, Hulu, Max bundle features ad-supported and ad-free tiers. The bundle with ads costs $16.99 a month while the bundle without ads costs $29.99 a month. Disney+ notes that members of both tiers can access "select Hulu content" on the Disney+ app while "select HBO content" will be accessible on the Hulu app. Members of the ad-free tier can also download titles to their mobile devices for on-the-go streaming of hit shows and movies, though "select live and linear content" will still have ads. This is likely referring to live NHL broadcasts and news from CNN.
Pricing-wise, it's better to have a bundle. Doing the new ad-supported Disney bundle is 35% cheaper than having individual subscriptions of Disney+ ($7.99 a month), Hulu ($7.99 a month) and Max ($10 a month). Meanwhile, the ad-free bundle is 43% cheaper than having individual ad-free subscriptions of Disney+ ($13.99 a month), Hulu ($17.99 a month) and Max ($20.99 a month).
Is the Disney+, Hulu, Max bundle worth it?
Absolutely! Whatever tier you pick, you're promised entertainment with the newest Disney bundle. Members can watch Disney classics like "Frozen," catch up on the latest season of "The Bear" or binge-watch the political satire "Veep." The bundle also comes with access to titles outside of the traditional Disney umbrella, like "The Simpsons," "Ferrari," "The Amazing Race," "Twister" and so much more. Try the bundle today and see what you can stream with ease.
